Talked to an iggles fan tonight over a beer. played it low key and you could see he was very concerned about Sundays game. He talked some smack but could not deny the doubt he had in his mind. "The eagles are playing like shit". LOL His break downs(thanks Mags) were weak and made him more nervous. We only lose this game if we lose it.

I believe that too. I predict that the eagles are going to play tight due to a ton more pressure NOT to lose yet another championship game. Our guys should also be able to use that underdog tag yet again to their advantage. Playing pissed and with a chip while remaining loose seems to work very well for the Panthers. All it will take is a couple of early breaks for us to get them panicky and get the thuggish crowd to shut the fuck up.)

I think Reid's a helluva coach and McNabb's a helluva quarterback. Beyond that, I can't see anywhere that the Eagles are stronger than us.
Then again, Our coach and quarterback are undefeated in the playoffs, aren't they?

The Iggles SHOULD be scared. In all honesty, what weapons do they really have? Akers? McNabb's feet? If they had a cohesive offense, he wouldn't be running so much. His playoff game rushing record is not a stat to be proud of.

The Packers, arguably a fading team, outplayed the Iggles all afternoon. They lost the game; the Iggles didn't win it. Actually, I think Favre was just afraid to face the Panthers. :laugher:

So, are we at the point where we don't beat ourselves anymore? Our recent playoff performance under pressure bolsters the argument that we've conquered that problem.
