That the other options suck shouldn't mean Jake gets graded on a curve.

    >>Obviously if you have read any published media this week, John Fox also thinks the game losing int was not related to Jake.

Certainly Moose stopping was a mistake. Doesn't make the read any better. Best case scenerio Moose becomes a defender on the play.

FOX: "I don't think our passing game, our protection, even our reads at the quarterback position, were executed well enough to get them off of us. "

Agree on all counts. It's certainly not time to call for Jake's head. But saying he played well is a denail of the obvious.

I said Jake played a bad game... Moose played a bad game... the whole damn offensive line played a bad game... does that make Jake a bad QB??? No. As a matter of fact I'm a huge Jake supporter, but I'm not gonna suck his dick because of it. I'll call a spade a spade. He had a bad game. He's played much better and I EXPECT him to play much better in the future, but it wasn't good. Was it all is fault? No, but it WAS bad.

that is cool, you are right. I guess I do not call Jake out to much this season because I know everything we have on the bench is scary, very scary.

I was just glad John Fox finally stepped up and said stuff was not all Jake's fault. Jake has always been a guy to accept resonsibility his fault or not - how refreshing.

He has been the most dominant receiver in our offense, especially late in the game.

My only point here is that I feel the Panthers need to put the best talent on the field. Smith is clearly the number one option in our receiving corp. What we need is another consistent option to free him up a little. IMO, Dyson deserves a shot to start over Muhammad and should get it soon. If nothing else, we better see what Dyson can do before we even think about releasing 87.

Until Dyson is actually active, and actually moves ahead of Walter Young and Karl Hankton in the recieving rotation and gets some playing time, I'd restrain those calls for seeing him start.
