My views from Atlanta

    The day started at the Mall of Georgia several hours before game time. I saw two people wearing Falcon's hats at the largest mall in Georgia, and nobody hollered anything at me or the 4 other guys with Panther jerseys. Walking into the game, only one person came up to me and said...."Carolina sucks, go back to Carolina!" They talked no shit before the game. The actual game was fine, they only talked shit when Vick made a big play or something. When it went into overtime, about 30 percent of the dome left. Seriously, they just took off. After the game, lot's of prodding, I took my medicine. Even a few falcon fans said to me...."Ya'll played a good game," and shook my hand. I told them to "fuck off, quit lying to me, we played horribly."

    So, I've got to say that the Georgia Dome is a really, really cool place, but Atlanta is a heinous sports town.

    QCH did all that, and came by to say hello from our liveshot location outside the dome....I hate the Panthers lost. :hammer:

    we were at the game as well

    Had a whole lot of people asking to get my picture with them or their kids...I was decked out in my QAT gear. Spent hours at Jocks and Jills before the game. ( I was DD so I hardly ever drink...didn't last night at all) Had quite a few Falcon fans ask to get pictures and I obliged. Walking over to the dome, got a very few rude comments but most of the fans were more into good natured ribbing. During the game, however, was a different story. We had one fan ejected for trying to rip off our banner. Kudos to Atlant Metro police for quick action. Personally, I wanted to kick the dudes butt! Others were throwing thing to be hurtful and malicious. After the game, some fans did friendly sparing and razzing but some were outright rude and obnoxious. Between the rude fans and the fact that Atlanta dropped the ball as far as safety concerning those going back toward the Omni, I doubt I would want to go and spend any money at Atlanta again. Friendy City, they gotta be kidding. There was limited southern charm there!
