    It's called a "storyline".

    During the Ravens game I got to hear all about how the Lewises - all of them including Ray, Marvin and Jamal - are the next coming.

    During the Skins game I got to hear all about how the Giants have quit and Bruce Smith was chasing a record.

    Pats/Miami? I'd swear I could've heard something about a snowstorm there 1000 times - even though I'm pretty sure I could actually see the snow with my own eyes!

    It's why TV makers include a mute button.

    I don't care how good Vick is - and he IS good - there was no excuse for the performance of the ESPN crew. They should be at least somewhat impartial so that all fans nationwide can enjoy watching the game. Leave the "homer" attitude to each team's radio broadcast crew.

    Their performance was a disgrace to sports broadcasting.

    In fact, ESPN itself is a disgrace to sports broadcasting. First Limbaugh, now this. They have no interest in sports, just ratings, hype, and ad revenue. Sign 'em all up for the Vick BJ list. :handjob:

    Vick would have lead Atlanta to the NFC Championship this year had he not been out.....look what he did last year....look what he did last night....he elevates that team to Championship Caliber.

    He is the BEST QB in the League....hands down. If you don't think so, then please give me another example of a team that goes 2-10 without and 10-2 with? Name one. You can't

    The sad part is we will get waxed by Vick for YEARS to come. The NFC south will belong to Vick. The only way this doesn't happen is if he is taken out. But, If he's healthy...the NFC South is doomed.

    Yes Vick is good.I'll give you that.Defenses around the league are going to figure out how to contain him.One player does not make a team.As I have said before he does not play defense.Do you think a McNabb led Eagles would only score 14 points against the Falcons? No it would be a blowout.They might kick the shit out of the Panthers,Saints,and Bucs...but even if they sweep the division thats only 6 wins.They still have to play 10 other teams.The Falcons play 16 games just like everybody else and that means 16 other defenses are gunning for him.He won't last long in this league playing that he does now.
