This is kinda surprising to me. I figured with all of the positive press that we've gotten so far this year, that we would be doing okay, but we're not. Oh, this comes from the Gaston Gazette online.

    Pro Bowl voting

Despite their 8-2 record, the Panthers don’t appear to be doing well in early Pro Bowl fan balloting, according to numbers released by the league. None of the Panthers were leading at their respective positions.

Running back Stephen Davis was among the top 10 vote getters, but he’s still ranked behind Green Bay’s Ahman Green, who leads the NFC in rushing after 10 games.

NFL fans still have plenty of time to cast their ballot by logging on to the internet at NFL.com.

The Titans lost to the Raiders in the AFC Championship game, and sent nobody to the Pro Bowl.

OK so I did the shameless homer thing and voted only for all Panthers players at all positions. Sorry, that's my mindset.

So go to www.NFL.com now and do the same!

you want to know how homer I've gotten regarding this?? EVERYDAY I go in and vote all Panthers in all positions, but don't vote ANY other NFC guys... that way I don't possibly nullify my vote by giving another guy a vote... I know its sad, but we've got some serious talent (Hoover, James, etc.) that have had ProBowl seasons and aren't gonna get a shot because we aren't the "popular" team.. so because of that I've gone psycho homer for all the Panthers and voted ONLY for them... if I don't HAVE to vote for the other guys I'm not going to

Which is less important? The pro bowl or the pre-season?

Pre season wins are more important than a pro bowl win, but I think pro bowl selection is more important tha a successful pre season.
