I was thinking of migrating over to Red Hat Linux 9; using it as my primary OS.

    Any thoughts?

Good luck. I run RH9 for my email/web server. It's awesome for that. I tried using linux as my primary OS, but got frustrated due to the fact that most software is written for Windows only. Your best bet is to dual boot.
