What was up with that. All I heard was that Jake threw an interception and it was overruled as an Incomp. pass.

I read some comments on it but was it that controversial? sounded pretty cut and dry.

I thought is was an obvious interception.....I have no clue how that call was overturned but its a new day in Panther Land. We used to get screwed on all the close calls all the time. That one was a big time blown call by the refs. Based on the TV replays I am absolutely clueless as to how the call on the field (interception) could be overturned. Hey sometimes you get a break. We got one on that call!!!

The refs said that since Mangum also had his hand on the ball that neither player actually had full control of the ball and so when the ball hit the turf, it should have been ruled an incompletion.

    I think.

It might have been a bad call, but nobody said you couldn't have a little luck to go undefeated.

We got away with one for once. I saw the play, but didn't hear the ruling on it. It looked clearly like an INT by Bratzke on a screen, Mangum had one hand on it to Bratzke's two. He took a couple of steps with it and Mangum ripped it loose and the Colts recovered. I'm guessing the ruling was no one clearly had control and being such it was ruled an incomplete pass once the fumble occured.

One replay showed that Mangum didn't have his hands on anything then ripped the ball out, definitely a bad call t ooverturn it but I'll take it.

Like Trashman said "We used to get screwed on all the close calls all the time."

It's about time one went our way.

Ruling was that neither Bratsze or Mangum had control of the ball. Bratze had more control than Mangum, but with replay you could see them bobble with it. Real time it looked pretty clear that it was an INT.

At least Mangum fought for the ball to cause the call. I like that. The game is over and the call will not matter.

Ricky Manning is turning into an interception machine. Evey game he plays he gets an int, it seems like. How many does the rest of the Panthers secondary have? I think 0 Let him start.
