It was an intense, physical game and Walker's emotions were still stirred in the locker room.

He was critical of officials, who penalized the Bucs 17 times for 168 yards in losses. Many of the flags were on the offensive linemen for holding and false starts.

"You would have thought the refs were paid," Walker said. "Shoot, they called everything. I mean, let people play. I'm definitely not blaming the refs, not at all. ... The (Panthers') D-line was complaining like some little girls anyway."

In overtime, television cameras caught Walker poking Panthers' defensive end Julius Peppers in the face. Peppers got upset and tried to retaliate, but Jenkins restrained him.

Asked why Peppers was mad at him, Walker said: "He didn't get a sack, man. His job is to get a sack and mine is to protect Brad (Johnson, Tampa's quarterback). It was overtime and he still hadn't smelled him."

Walker was the primary lineman blocking Peppers, but he had lots of help from teammates on double-teams. Walker didn't take kindly to the suggestion that Carolina had a standout defensive line just like the Bucs.

"They're supposed to be this great sack team," he said. "How many sacks did they get?"

The answer is 1, the same as Tampa Bay.

The refs were bad but Peppers and any D-lineman who came close to Brad got held. The Bucs could have had about 10 more holding calls against them. It wasn't fair. No ref is gonna call a hold every play so why not hold. It got ridiculous that we would rush only three guys and they still had to hold.

I am also suprised that Walker didn't mention the play on the final drive when Peppers had him beat and he grabbed his facemask - which didn't get called.

Walker is not the most well liked Buc in Tampa anyway. Fans are down on him because he's not turning into the guy they wanted when he was drafted. Too much talk and too little play. They ride his ass on talk radio all the time.

Brad got chased almost everytime he held the ball for longer then 3 seconds too
