I guess he wants to keep playing until there is not 1 drop of gas in the tank  . . . . I heard he lives in Hilton Head Island, if I'm not mistaken . . I wonder if we could use his house for the next TBR party in November :D :D ? ? ?

He's got gas in the tank. He's barely played the last two seasons because of injuries.

bummed me out to see Richter retire. I didn't see the press conference but I heard that he was pretty tore up about it. Mess was so upset he had to leave the room. it will be interesting to see who the rangers get for a goaltender. maybe they'll try to get Cujo...

thank goodness richter is done.. he hasn't made it through a season the last three years..plus hes cost the checkers dearly these years with all the call-ups he neccessitated

    m. dunham will be a solid starter and hopefully the kid blackburn can finish developing and step up this year and be a contributor

I hope you're not dumping ALL the checkers problems at his feet....its not his fault we don't have more than 1 goalie thats worth a shit. Or a coach thats worth a shit, for that matter.

Why does the press have such a hard on for Messy-Gay? What the fuck has he done besides "stare at people" since 1994?

a lot of the problems occured when we had goalies called up either in the middle of the playoffs(2002) or last year when we had the hottest goalie in the league making a serious push to get in playoffs get called up when richter got knocked out cold.. i think wandler got called up late in 2001 too

that in my opinion is why richter has cost the checkers dearly
