    Hey guys. Been gone a long time !! i Had a really rough summer.Too long to go into the details, but I ended up in the hospital 2 times in 3 weeks - critical both times- from Pneumonia, Congestive Heart Failure, and gross diabetic swelling of both legs.

    The good Lord was exceeding ly good to me and I give HIM all the credit.. Even my Doctors said this.. However I had two aces in the whole, a dear sweet wife who stayed with me through it all (even spent the night in my room when things lookd really bad and some Carolina Panthers who decided to give me something to cheer about. I seem to be over all my problems, just need to gain some strenght. Lost 60 pounds through it all, but breginning to gain it back slowly. I was however left with a need 24/7 for oxygen because of the new damage to my heart and lungs.

    Man you ought to see me drag that 75 ft. oxygen line throught out yhe house. It will reach all the way from my generator in the bedroom to either my computer room or the big TV in the den. Only problem is I can't enjoy my gaszfire place anymore - too much oxygen l;oose.

    Lets GO PANTHERS. THE "OLD COOT" IS BACK AND RARING TO GO.:D :D :D :D

    Hey you Old Coot! Oxygen line huh? Well god bless you.

    You'll have to get somebody rearrange some stuff so you can have the computer room and the big screen TV in the same room. That way you can join us in the game thread

    a y2 glad to have the old coot back in the house!!!


    btw - who do you think should start at QB? :)

    hey ole coot. this is catch from the old board.

    looks like you're down to the bare minimum for enjoyment in life, a wife and the Panthers. I hope your wife's alot of fun. I'm not so sure about the Panthers.

    ...takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. Hell, I wouldn't have wanted to miss this season either. We might just win a few if we can play the last couple of minutes :)

    You're not old enough to be the starting Panthers QB yet, OC, so you'll have to settle for armchair QB a little bit longer...welcome back!
