9-7 - The worst we can do...

I thought the defense was good. They were just really vanilla. Fox won't show much during the preseason.The defense will probably be better than last year, having a year of playing together. The speed was there. I remember one running play in particular in the first quarter they ran Canidate to the outside on 3rd and 2 and we had 5 guys waiting on him when he got to the corner. The defense is the least of our worries.

 

Maybe, but it's a hard earned and well deserved "blow 1 pre-season game out of proportion". Just in case anyone forgot, we have not had a winning season since 1996....that's 6 years of basically awful football to endure....that's 60 home games with the majority beind losses. We all just want a chance to bring back the days of walking the ramp (for us upper deckers) and loudly celebrating another win. It's been to long since we kicked the Cowboy's butts and went to the NFC Championsip game. We are starved for something to be optomistic about, and right now we have a ton of reasons for it.........so I say let's dream of the Super Bowl........we've earned the right to dream.

 

I think 0-16 is the worst we can do. I expect us to go 9-7, but please don't jinx us.

 

You're saying black shoes make them look slower because you can't follow the trails left by the swooping of their white Nikes? Please!

 

no I'm saying they LOOK slower... black blends more as a color to the turf... they're the same speed they were last year, but visaully it makes the LOOK slower
