    Garcia will not play when the 49ers face the Raiders on Thursday at Candlestick Park, just as he did not in the exhibition opener Saturday at Kansas City. Watching from his living room, he yelled at the TV and kicked a few pillows -- though it had nothing to do with his understudies, Tim Rattay, Brandon Doman and Ken Dorsey, who combined to complete 23 of 28 passes for 230 yards.
