Did anyone watch this kid last night? I watched part of the fourth quarter and realized I wished I had seen this kid when he was in college at UC Davis. Read enough about him cuz his numbers looked pretty good, even saw the words "poor-man's Brett Favre in one article.
The play were he took off running then flipped it to the RB just before he got to the LOS...that was very Favre-like, as was the velocity on the TD in the back of the EZ.
I'll be watching for this kid if Brooks goes down or implodes.

Tory Woodbury looked pretty damn good, too.
Threw a TD to Zach Hilton.

What I noticed was AJ Feeley is probably better than half the QBs starting in the league. He has good arm and really good mobility. Somebody needs to trade for that dude cause he can play!

Did anyone notice how bad the Saints first string defense looked. The Eagles never lost yardage on the first four series and looked like they could score at will.

And the Saints OL looked slow (lots of holding going on). That's just how it appeared to me. I'm thinking a sweep of the Saints is a very real possibility.

especially gandy. they went to a highlight clip of him and he was holding on both plays. they also have a rookie guard starting who appeared to have trouble run blocking. i think our front four could have a big day against this oline.

Feeley looks awful jerky at times but he does have talent and heart.

The Saints have Bentley, who's good. Gandy kinda sucks, and the rest really suck. They look slow because they are - slow off the snap, slow to react, and unathletic.

Last year, the Saints gave up 2 sacks (Rucker, Peppers) in the first game and 4 in the second (Rucker, Wallace while Peppers was suspended, Fields, and Cousin), and that's with Turley.

another stat to note: we threw two TD passes in the first game and those were both to TEs (Walls, Wiggins). The one TD in the second game was to a FB (Hoover). Those linebackers are awful exposed.
