Hey isn't Steve Post still doing a racing show? That should have won or maybe Mark & Soupy on Friday Night HS Football.

Small town radio, love me some.

This is sort of like shooting fish in a barrel, right?

In case you didn't hear it - something quite ironic from yesterday's show. Not funny ironic, ha ha, but ironic as in Pack doesn't seem to realize his own stupidity at times.

Come in from break, Sorenson and I forget who else (R. Walker?) are in the studio. I think Sorenson's the best guest host they have, so I'll listen to him. Packer spends the first couple minutes working hard to set up QCB for a Heyseed joke. It's painful and it's stupid to waste the top of the hour doing this, but Sorenson's there, so I stick around. Finally, QCB pays off the joke (and amazingly, it's not funny...). They go to the first caller, who gives props to Sorenson for a column about a dog, "Nike" (?) I didn't see it... But the caller made mention of it. Once Packer tires of the caller giving Sorenson his due, he busts in with "What does this have to do with sports?"

Packer who wastes time on QCB and Heyseed, let alone the Mike from Gastonia debacle, giving a caller grief for not talking sports. An all-time classic, I kid you not!

Steve Post is doing a short program for WEGO, Tuesday and Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. "Short Track Racing Report" about local tracks. Steve is great to work with and a real talent.

I am not in the media biz, but I can vouch for Steve Post as a professional and can vouch for his passion for short track racing. I was involved in motorsports at the short track level until last year and have met him. He is good.
