His throwing error just cost the NL home field advantage in the world series.Gagne did'nt help much either.

I fell asleep on the couch.Woke up and thought they were replaying the home run derby from last night.First Giambi and then Anderson.

Franchise.....one good thing about the game was Smoltz never getting out of the bullpen.Thought that was funny.

Maybe the NL players will vote this stupid rule of giving home field advantage to the winner of this game out now since they haven't won the all star game since 1996.

Franchise and K-Town, just because you hate the Braves with a passion doesn't mean you should blame Furcal. His error didn't cost us the game, A-Rod would have beaten it out anyway. The fly ball out to end the game wouldn't have mattered were it not for fuckin Eric Gagne. Shame on you Gagne! I thought you were better than that. Thanks so much for costing Smoltz an appearance, Andruw possibly the MVP, and the NL the win and home field.

I blame Dusty..................Gag'ne allows it to be a 1 run game and he leaves Smoltz sitting in the pen................make the damn change !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only coach 8 & 9 year olds and I see Gag'ne was doing nothing but adding fuel to the fire.

I would have to agree with that...it would have been interesting to see Smoltz pitch 1 1/3 to hold the lead.

The other thing I thought was crappy was the way that the National League approached the 9th inning, you had two speedsters in Luis Castilla and Furcal. Why didn't Castilla drag a bunt with there being one out and either play some hit and run with Furcal or bring Jenkins off the bench for more power in the lineup?
