Hogewood yesterday's fill-in for Packman

    And I have to say he was actually pretty good. A lot better than any other fill-ins they've had while Packman was on vacation (DeLong, Justice). My only gripe is that they stayed on one subject pretty much the whole time I listened, and that was biggest busts in sports. I don't mind that as a topic, but I don't think it was worthy of being the ENTIRE topic of conversation. To me, that's a lazy way of running a program -- by throwing a topic out and taking calls. Frankly, there are a lot of listeners opinions that I could do without.

    I didn't catch it cuz as soon as I heard Cedric Maxwell on there I was outta there ASAP.

    Maybe someone will win the Powerball, buy WXRC and start a rival sports station. (Yeah like that will happen).

    I'd settle for someone buying a pin and popping Hogsniffer!

    Maybe it was a one-time instance of FNZ production having a clue and putting all their annoying personalities on all at once... If you're gonna suffer, suffer hard.

    How sad is it, though, that the show can lose direction when Packer is gone? Maybe he is worth $125k per year after all....

    Get XM or Sirius radion and kiss FNZ good bye I listen to Sporting News radio or ESPN radio and get a lot less John Boy and Billy sports radio

    I have to agree with you QC Hilbilly. I just never have like Hogewood. He thinks he is all that and he is not. He annoyed me one day when he was asked to pick the ACC, he just said NC State, FSU, Maryland, and Virginia, but not necessarily in that order! He wouldn't elaborate.
