She did sort of take it in that she did not qualify for the mens tour. I don't see it as a problem unless every week sponsors start using their exemptions for female players just for the extra media. However, if they don't do well then that will fizzle out. If they do well enough that the sponsors want to keep putting them in tournaments then they need to start qualifying for the tour.

This is all about money. The sponsor gets more bang for their buck. Why give the spot to some local hack , when you can triple nationonal viewship this way. And Annika gets her name out there, which means more moola from endorsements. People who don't know her from Eve will watch to see what the hoopla is about.

    PT Barnum would be proud.

My question is will she be required to wear long slacks or can she show her legs?

Piper, ALL professional sports is about the money. Who has the largest TV market etc etc. Love of money has taken out a lot of love for the game for most people.

Hey! It's the friggin' PGA. Those boys should be good! I mean if you can hit a hole in one every now and then, you should be able to hit Sorenstam's head.

This is a bullshit argument when people say it isn't called the MPGA Men's PGA tour... fuck its damn initials the reason it wasn't called that is because there wasn't a LPGA tour when it started... its the men's grouping... like I said before guys can't go play on the LPGA tour so its not fair plain and simple... and for those that say she's already maxed out on the LPGA tour... fuck that too... Michael Jordan reached the point where no one in the NBA was better where could he go? Tiger Woods is at that point on the PGA tour.. where does he go... no where... she's the best WOMAN'S golfer... yeah for her that's good... dominate your league and leave it at that... if you don't like the fact your whipping ass then retire... this has reached the point it really gets on my nerves... I have NO problem with women golfers like I've stated before, and if there were only ONE league for both men and women then they BOTH should be allowed, but there are seperate groups. If women are bitching about equality then explain why a women SHOULD be allowed to play on the PGA tour but a man can't on the LPGA tour, and like I said no bullshit arguments about initials.

Don't you think if MJ and Tiger had another level of their sport to conquer that they wouldn't go for it? Of course they would. That is a silly arguement.
