    We've let plenty of DUI guys stay on. Must have been other issues with Lamar Smith that werent made as public.

    It was public.... he had killed someone years ago when he was with Seattle I think..... I may be wrong about the team but he killed some poor SOB while drinking and driving.

    I don't believe he killed anyone. He paralyzed a teammate when he wrecked his car reaching for a tape that had fallen. Lamar had to give a portion of his salary every year to that guy. Can't remember his name though.
