Basically talking about how pleased they were with their picks. He said they didnt reach for need, and how the tight end was their first choice and the db from the 3rd round.stated the value of the draft overall was good and that each pick fell right where they wanted them. Also said that some drafts arent judged good or bad for up to 3 years. Also called the 8 f/a signings as extra draft picks. Also said that 1st day drafties are hopefully early contributers. Also said that 8 drafted will provide good competition which will inevitably help the team

    Give me a break Marty

Value for those lame ass picks in rounds 2 and 3? You took the 4th or 5th rated center and tried to justify it by turning him into a project at guard?

You draft a TE in 3 who was rated a late 2nd day pick because of his limited upside and injury history and we're supposed to be happy about it?

A nickelback with a pending court date is worth 3 draft picks but a potential franchise QB isn't even with the slight dropoff in talent between the top 4-5 OT?

In trying to improve the FB and S positions you draft clones of the players you already have and hope somehow they pan out while bypassing better players at those positions?

You draft a DE and don't address a pending need at DT (Jenkins and Buckner are FA next year I believe) with quality players still on the board?

Go blow smoke up some one else's ass.
