I just dont like the fact that we could battling for a playoff spot on the road 4 out the last 6 games.

I heard the Giants are going to that funky new turf this season, is that true? if so, we have 7 games on some kind of turf -

    Giants (2 games)
    Saints
    Falcons
    Colts
    Houston
    Dallas

    That SUCKS...

That schedule looks scary to me.
AZ, Det, TX, & Jax don't scare me, but the rest? whew.

taking it out and putting new hybrid turf this season.

the only teams that i can say right now that we will soundly defeat is DET and AZ. that is a tough schedule.

    I don't like....

    A bye in week 3,

    1 home game in December,

    8 games on artificial surface

2 road games in December against 2002 playoff teams.

    I do like....

our chances if we get off to a good start.

    October is brutal.

    C'mon guys!

THINK POSITVE!!!!!:p We are going to kick some major ass this year!! We've got SD in our back field, maybe teamed with DF if he can return from his injury. We've got a lot of promise this year. Even a few of the Dallas fans that I know said that we will do pretty well this year (except when we play them! Boy, are they going to be wrong!:D ) And remember, some of the fans from our division are a little worried about us, except for the Dirty Turds, who, right now, own us.

The schedule IS rough and I'm not saying that we will be 16-0, but I think we will MAJORLY improve from last year. I, too, am not too crazy about the early bye, but, hey, what can we do about it? Suck it up and GO!

Having the Jets/Giants playing on the same field every week was tearing up the field too much . . . I think they are using the fake grass that is being used in Tampa Bay (Tropicana Field), Univ. of Washington & Nebraska's football stadiums . . . . I thought Houston's new stadium had real grass in trays (they are taking out when the floor of Reliant Stadium has to be used for conventions, concerts, and the rodeo) ? ?

I see that our game with the Dirty Turds on Sun., Dec. 7 is on ESPN. Cool. Now, if we just don't suck really bad by time we get to play them, we'll be in bidness.:D

I'd like to say the Lions will be better but they've done little so far to improve. Dre bly and Bryson will help, but they really really need LBs. Losing Claiborne and getting Ranier is a wash. we'll see what difference a real coach makes.
