Navies to play MLB

Is Jr. Seau and Derrick Brooks the last of a dying breed of playmaking weakside players?

I read a blurb in this article that said Hannibal was going to move to MLB. I did a double take. I'd also read that Cinci was going to put Hardy at MLB. Talk about thinking outside the box.

Here's to hoping Morgan puts up Brooking-like numbers next year.

 

I don't think any of us doubt he could play at that level, but.....Hes got to stay healthy for a season first.

 

Maybe Will Witherspoon will take the weakside position by storm. I would never suggest he is in the same league as Seau or Brooks, but one can always hope he can at least head in that direction because as long as Morgan is healthy Spoon is our weakside quy.

 

I'd be surprised if Witherspoon became a playmaker. He's active, and athletic, but I just don't know if he's got the total package. Will he be more than good enough to fill behind two playmakers? sure.

Hardy I can somewhat see inside, Navies is an odd choice.
