The Dallas Clark pick is a good one.

No way if Leftwich is there we pass on him. I would love to get Leftwich in the 1st then trade our second to NO for Turley, we could always trade our two 4th rounders for another second.

This article by Len Pasc (ESPN) states that we will be passing on a QB (no pun intended) as will a lot of teams in the top 10...
    http://espn.go.com/nfl/columns/pasquarelli_len/1519866.html

Also check this out... nother reason to move down...

"You give me Simms in the second round right now and I'd be thrilled," said the head coach of an NFC team. "You wouldn't have to rush him into the field like you might a first-rounder, there is far less risk involved, and we feel like he can play. That (second) round could be a real bounty."

Could that be Fox? Are they in love with Simms??? [IMG]

Meat the same thing seems to happen every year, guys that havent done shit in a game have great workouts and become the flavor of the week. Good, I hope the other teams above us buy the hype, and the Panthers management keeps thier heads.

It's decent. It's low on the list, though, compared to CB and WR if all the same are still there.
The top five on my draft list at that point (at those need spots)?

    Sammy Davis, CB
Dave Ragone, QB ---> fuck Simms
    Kevin Curtis, WR
    Brandon Lloyd, WR
    Rashaun Mathis, CB

Also notice that both Stinchcomb and Foster are there and great fits for this O. But we got Gross.

Trufant at 9, then WR, or Clark, or Foster, would be an excellent draft. Better than this, IMO. Or if we had to, Gross and Davis.

In the scenerio above give me Leftwich and Lee Suggs and I'll fill holes on the line with my other picks.

Suggs would give us a stable of good tough runners and a future feature back when Davis is gone and with Foster possibly done.

We need OT but gimmie dose 2 and I'm very happy. :)
