but, besides artest flipping off fans (and i've seen just the same from other professional sports players), what has he done?? sure, he got into it with pat riley, but it isnt a chronic problem where a player and a coach get into it on the court.

and for every spree, derrick coleman and shawn kemp- you've gotta rae carruth, fred lane, chris terry, hell even jarrod cooper (dui) who have run-ins with the law. i think the nba is unfairly targeted.

i just have gotten sick of the direction the nba has gone in the past 5 or 6 years. i used to be a huge pistons fan back in the mid 90s, but now i just cant seem to get excited about nba games anymore. and youre right about how bad incidents happen in all pro sports

btw, the all star game isnt bad. some good D and iverson has been passing a lot

 

look- by no means do i think the nba is better today than it was even 4-6 yrs ago. the league has many problems. at times, its unwatchable. however, i just think they're unfairly targeted- and the only thing i can see that makes them targeted is the look of the league.

 

By now, you may have watched the halftime show, where the torch was passed, and Mariah was looking delicious as usual , and I happen to enjoy the ceremony. Clearly Jordan looks nearly 40 yeras old, but it's still awesome to see him on the court. You noticed that he didn't mention anyone in particular to pass it to. Huh
