    Man, I didn't realize he had died :( . . . I caught the end of PTI the other day and I thought it was just his birthday . . . I can remember him in the early days of WWF back in the early 80's . . . Didn't realize he was already in his late 50's back then !!!!!!!


    BTW, SLAM.ca has the best wrestling news hands down . . . How come the local fishwrap doesn't devote more ink to the sport :rolleyes: ? ? ? I mean, the predecessor to the late WCW was based here for years and the Winston-Salem Journal has a weekly column in the TV guide . . .

    Bring back crummy, low-rent wrestling like in the good ole days. Local ownership, local talent, Saturday night broadcasts and all. The cheesier and cornier the better. Big Bill Ward, Haystacks Calhoun, Johnny Weaver, Nelson Royal, The Crocketts...that type of stuff. Ever see that wrestling on WHKY? It stinks and I love it.
