Staples has this one. It's a bit faster and has an additiona $50 rebate.

Buy the sony that supports almost all of the dvd formats as well as cdrw. It is only about 80 bucks more, but worth it.

I recently purchased the Sony dru500a it supports dvd-r,dvd-rw,dvd+r,dvd+rw, It is awesome. The dru500a is the internal model and the drx500ul is the external model. Highly recommend either one of them.

Pretty much all DVD movies (from blockbuster or even the ones you buy) are copy-protected. I've seen some hacks that claim to beat it, but I'm not sure if they work or not.
