    I think Dan handled it well, I was just saying that if Bryce does not "measure" up this season, we might be shopping for a new QB soon. This is how it should be

    Too bad he doesn't have an NFL caliber arm. And he's 25. But he could be a better gadget guy for us than Jimmy Horn Jr., so there's that.

    I can't wait for the Bryce haters to clamor for King to start. The backup is always the most popular guy in town, right?

    Matt Jones had a 57.2 completion percentage in his last year of college. Haynes King completed 69.8% of his passes last year, 72% the year before. Also, the league wasn't into gadget guys that much in 2005.

    I don't think this means that King is necessarily going to make the roster, but I'm much happier to sign him as a UDFA over drafting him in the first round like Jacksonville did with Jones.
