    McCarthy is intuitively depressing despite an excellent resume. I've come to accept him as being a quality HC but I get the skepticism. There's just something about him that feels second rate.

    this is where people were with Reid given how Philly ended. And McCarthy has a ring.

    It's not about McCarthy for me...it's that the Steelers MO is to hire long term...nothing about McCarthy says long term at this point.

    Probably the shortest tenure of a Steelers HC coming up.
