Between Motens age and Eckys leg. solid pick

 

Good pick. It's probably best to sit him behind Walker for a year, but I think he'll be incredible by year three. The NFL traits are A+.

 

Here are my round one thoughts for anyone who gives a shit:


Love is a great running back but the Cardinals have so many other needs. They should have traded back.


Reece to the Giants makes no sense unless they're already tired of Carter's bullshit. Those two guys are the same exact player.


I don't love proctor at all and I consider him the biggest reach of the first round. He's a cartoon character who won't have a real position in the NFL. Ty Simpson at 13 is crazy on the surface, but the gap between him and the first overall pick probably isn't so wide. Simpson was considered the top quarterback until about late October. Obviously this means they don't believe Stafford will play beyond 2026.


The Jets have set the table nicely for their next head coach. I love all three of those players. Cooper is awesome and I would not have minded the Panthers picking him at 19.


The Saints and Bucs got studs. Bummer. On the bright side, the falcons having to sit in the corner and watch like a cuckold is funny. Pearce being in deep shit makes it extra humiliating.

 

Now it is time for Defense.
Do we stick at 51 and just take what drops? Doubt it.

If we pick the LB JRod, we will need to move up about a minimum of 10 picks.
If we sit tight, maybe Hill LB will be there, or we pivot and go Ponds CB.

I expect a lot of trades tonight.

Wild card prediction: We trade newly signed LT Walker to a LT hungry team that missed out in 1st round to carry them over to next season and we move well up into the 2nd round. Crazy I know

 

A great way to have to pay a "shitty franchise" tax on every free agent signing bonus for a few years.
