• I read somewhere UNC isn't in the top 15 in NIL spending for basketball. Kids nowadays don't know or give a fuck who Dean Smith or Roy Williams are. If you aren't prepared to spend it doesn't matter to kids nowadays.
• Go outside the family to hire. The only candidate with a UNC tie I can think of is Stackhouse. Not yet. I'd go for Billy Donovan as the Bulls are rebuilding but he's 61. Fuck Hurley not that he'd come here.

 

I don't care anymore. I'm completely over college sports. NIL, portal, and playoffs have rotted everyone's brains.

 

Yep. I'm right there with you, but I'm a hundred years old. You're still at that age where you're suppose to go along with the latest and greatest trends without question. Glad to see some fairly young traditionalists out there.

 

College sports are dead.

No use going after someone in the Dean Smith tree because that system was set up when players stayed 3-4 years. Now, it is all one and done. No use teaching kids long term basketball skills. Just launch a bunch of three's like the Hornets and win games.
