You're getting another WR and you'll like it!

Oh no we could have a dynamic passing attack that threatens defenses with multiple capable wide receivers I hated having that in 2003 and not a single year since.

3 years in a row that your 1st rounder is a WR? On a team that claims they want to run the ball?

    Not for me

I'm perfectly fine taking a WR at 19. There will be excellent value there and Legette has been a miserable failure so far.

Even if you're "run first" the NFL is still a 3WR league.

What are your thoughts on John Metchie? We may already have three good receivers on the roster.

After last year's draft, I will trust Dan's instincts even if we take a punter in the first.

How would you guys rate positions as far as importance?

    For me

    QB
    OT, DE, OLB, DT
WR, LB, TE, CB, S, G, C, RB

Those are the tiers of importance for me

Thus the reasons QB's are over drafted each year.

How would it affect your drafting?

If I remotely needed someone in T2, I would draft them over a tier 3 player that I might have an actual bigger need for.

So if the 19th pick came down to the TE Kenyon Sadiq, DT Kayden McDonald, or WR KC Concepcion. The DT would get the nod from me

I'm really amazed that folks are actually serious about drafting a TE at 19 when this offense doesn't seem to know how to use a TE. They don't seem to have any plays where the TE is the sole focus of the play. I don't think it's a lack of TE talent as it is the OC would rather use the WRs or even the RBs to catch passes over the TEs. The majority of Travis Kelsey's receptions seem to be him finding a soft spot in the defense and then turn around to see if he is the target. Mahomes actively looks for him. Young not so much.

College friend of Bryce Young being given a summer job in Charlotte.

He's small, not particularly fast, and doesn't return kicks or punts.
