Frank Reich might be the Jets HC at some point in 2026. For a supposed burn-out he's throwing himself at any gig he can find.

I suspect his plan was to go out on a good note and get into preaching but he fucked bryces development and now has to take shit jobs where success is unlikely.

I'll give tepper credit when he breaks a coach he really breaks them, rhule is unlikely to get anything better than nebraska after he's fired there, ron is out of the league*, reich is taking any job where the check clears. Hurney retired to trade first round picks for injury prone racehorses, fitterer never getting a gm job again.

*I do think ron could do the wade Philips good dc for a young coach thing if he wanted to stay in the nfl.

Reich was a solid OC/playcaller HC not too long ago. I'm just surprised he's back in it. The guy looked like half dead by the time Tepper fired him, and he doesn't need the money unless he's managed it like M.C. Hammer.

Where will the Seahawks go now?

Nobody will want to sign there in the future due to the new taxes.

    San Antonio?
    Birmingham?
    OKC?

Players will still sign there, but it's no longer an added incentive. Florida and Tennessee don't have state income taxes, and it's not proving to be a massive advantage for teams in either state.

Of the 4 florida/tennessee teams only one has gotten a ring this century and the only other team with one won it before the bucs even existed.

Jerry has long been the wall to any san antonio expansion and he has gathered one of the strongest coalitions of owners around. When he dies maybe.
That would quickly be one of the smallest market teams in the country
ditto. Seattle metro alone has 1 million people more than the state of oklahoma.

No team is going to sign up to lose money playing in the middle of nowhere. St. Louis is bigger than all 3 suggested and no one wants to go there.

True, just looking at areas that might want a team and support football. Seattle will lose out on many good guys in the future given their new taxes on them

Everyone says that and yet when new jersey raised taxes all they lost out on was David Tepper.
