As much as looking at a variety of mocks is fun, I just read one from some homer Panther site stating Reich would love to draft Richardson. Fuck that shit

Is it out of the realm of possibility? Guy was on the staff that drafted Wentz then thought he could fix him after the flameout. McCown might also see some of himself in an athletics guy with accuracy issues.

I think Richardson is very much on the table. There's too much smoke for there to not be any fire.

plus... I don't trust Tepper to be focused for this long. He's got the pick and he's got too much time to stew. The staff might have narrowed it down to 2 guys but Tepper is probably drooling over Levis' biceps.

The one nice thing about Richardson is the athletic profile, which is way superior to other recent running QBs who became NFL busts. If all else fails, you can just lean into the running game. I'm just not convinced you'll ever get anything close to an ROI as a #1 overall pick.

Richardson is a couple years from being worth at hoot, a minimum, in the passing game. Lots of the guys we just signed in FA will be gone then.

He could be had at 9, I'd be pissed if they traded away those picks for a move like that

Levis is dropping like a rock. I guess some of the self-appointed draft analysts have finally gotten around to watching UK games, and they're realizing Levis is just an actor playing a B movie version of a quarterback. I don't think he'd even be on the draft radar if he didn't play in the SEC, or if he wasn't a fucking weirdo who puts mayonnaise in his coffee and makes viral videos of himself eating unpeeled bananas.

I'm a bit worried that Hooker will be way better in the NFL than people think, and the Panthers will end up looking dumb as shit for trading up for the 3rd or 4th best QB in this draft.
