    Prez,
All those you mentioned are outliers and certainly not the norm.
Things have to fall perfectly into place for those to happen.
When have things fell into place for the Panthers?
That is why "this trope" will never die.

The Bills entered the draft needing a franchise quarterback, and made a trade from the 12th overall pick to the Buccaneers' seventh-overall pick to secure Allen.

The Eagles drafted Hurts in the second round even though they had a QB1 in Wentz.

the 49ers pulled the trigger on a monster trade with the Dolphins to move up to No. 3 overall in the 2021 draft where they selected North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance.
In the deal they sent their 2021, 2022 and 2023 first-round picks, along with a 2022 compensatory third-round selection (No. 102 overall). The ripple effects from the deal will continue for years depending on how the 49ers fare and what happens with those picks they traded.

The last part of your post I agree with. Then Marty and Matt are no longer with the team.

Was that when Reich was trying to answer the turf question?

Reich did a good job at the presser.

Maybe there was something crazy I did not see.

Draft will be very fun to watch this season, especially the lead up.

I want to see the coordinators soon, real soon

Gantt is our punching bag aroud here.

He also looks positively terrified of being on TV outside of that smirk he had on his twitter banner for a while there.

Here is your too early prediction for 2023

We will pick BPA, maybe an Edge guy in the draft.
Waaaay too many vet QB's out there for us not to grab one on a 2 year deal.
Will give the Corral kid a chance to be the movment guy and passer that Reich described today

Ok, just kidding. But hope we don't blow all the draft picks to move up for some guy, that always worries me

Niners asking to speak to Wilks as their new defensive coordinator. So is he still under contract? I wonder if a Fangio lite contract would appease him into staying?
