"He knows the verbiage, he knows the concepts. You watch him on tape, he's executing the plays that we're going to run," Rhule said of Bridgewater, who won all five of his starts filling in for an injured Drew Brees in New Orleans last season. "So you feel really good about that. And then, throughout his career, he's someone who makes everyone around him better.

"I think he's the perfect fit for us, for our offense, for where the team wants to go."

He had final roster say too. Lying fucking bitch

I changed the settings on my phone news feed to not interested in matt rhule and not interested in nebraska football

glad he's gone, George Seifert (.333) is no longer the worst coach in franchise history

crazy, Rhule (.289) would have had to go .500 in the next 10 games to tie Seifert, even with Seifert's 1-15 season that's pretty bad

It's hard to sympathize with a fraudulent coach who just won 72 million dollars, but Rhule is right about Tepper being an undisciplined moron with no coherent vision for the team. Even if he lucks into good GM/HC hires, his volatility makes everyone's job impossible. You have no idea what the guy wants to do next week let alone three years later.

I feel like I have to root for Rhule to fail, just from a cosmic justice principle. It's not even personal. He's stolen so much money from everyone that he doesn't deserve the added validation of on-field success.

How could it be stolen when he was sought out and handed the money?
