No, you could line him up anywhere behind the LOS. I'm sure McAdoo will take advantage of his skill set.

When you spend a top 10 pick on a RB you're forced to use them that way to justify it. Big brained coaches like Rivera double down on this thinking cause RUN THE BALL. Payton was loath to run reggie bush cause he knew he wouldn't hold up. Bush was kind of a bust as a high RB pick anyway cause he tore up his knees.

I guess one of the differences between a RB and a WR is who is covering him, a DB or a LB. Putting CMC in the slot or as a 4th WR with a LB covering him seems like a winner both for the matchup and his durability.

I read he sought advice from Marshal Faulk in the offseason and he told him to to back off the weight training

True, football players need to have something of a BMI. Guys who are too cut up almost ALWAYS have injury issues. I see it with wrestlers all the time at the end of the season, they start cutting to prep for wrestling the last 2 weeks of the season and end up getting injured, not as much because of decreasing the BMI, but due to the change in eating habits and sudden weight loss.

Progressive is based in Ohio so no more Baker stadium ads. Too bad the guy has charisma off the charts. If he ever wins a super bowl he'd probably kill it on SNL
