Traditions are flying out the window. Rumors are swirling that Clemson and UNC could be joined the SEC in 2 years

I could believe that about Clemson, but the only people who think UNC could make that jump are UNC fans.

The thing that gets tricky is... how do you keep interest when there's only so many trophies to be won. Even teams that get killed in the playoffs could count on a conference title. Will ucla be happy finishing 18th each year in a 20 team super league? Ive had the same question about the soccer super league plan. Slave in heaven, rock star in hell deal I guess.

Pay the university for the license. Same as all the official [small business] partner of university of [location].

The stadia and infrastructure would also net a pretty penny in lease/sales. Lots of colleges will realize the boondoggle sports spending can bring- cal bears stadium a prime example.

College football is going to be wild over the next few years. The NIL rules are already making an impact.

On the one hand, this is probably not good for college football. On the other, it's Ohio State in the L column so it's not all bad. Still, I bet in five years every major program in Texas is loaded with talent because of boosters with oil money.
