Just installed it yesterday. I've been suffering on DSL for too long and learned to hate and not trust Time Warner/Spectrum long ago. Also, I think Elon Musk needs more money, so I signed up for his service.

One thing they don't really tell you is that after you install it, service is spotty for the first 12 hours because the antenna needs to learn where all the satellites it can see are. So I couldn't really get a good test yesterday, but here is what I got this morning. I'll take it, even if it isn't as fast as fiber (which will likely never come to my neighborhood) or even some cable plans.

Those are not bad numbers for the American market. Don't get me started on South Korea. Are you able to access the internet when it is raining?

Yeah, it's pretty reliable where the weather is concerned. However, I'm about to dump it because I just can't find a place without obstructions--too many tall trees in my yard. I get an obstruction every minute, which knocks me off of zoom calls.

You should free your life of unnecessary obstructions

I like the solitude. It's hard to find a place in the middle of everything that feels like the middle of nowhere.
