I can't see us sticking with the 6th overall pick unless there's an unbelievable talent available there, and I don't think this draft has a ton of unbelievable talent. It's deep though, so I can see us trying our level best to trade down and get some day two picks. The challenge is that I can't figure out who would make a great trade partner.

Hint: You defended him last season and he currently works in Washington.

The one fan run site I saw mentioned a first round trade with the Chargers and then in the later round with the Pats.
    That was from catcrave.com .

Who would Washington want at seven bad enough to move up five spots in the draft? If they did though, we would likely be picking at 11 and pick up their third round pick (73).

Looks like we will get the 3rd best OT with the 6th overall pick

Yup. Every year this is the case as far as trading down. I would like to know how many times a would be trade partner has offered to trade up with Carolina and offered diddly shit to do so . .. Because it’s “Carolina”.
The “butter face” in school that will repeatedly be willing to put out despite only gaining more ridicule and abuse. Sorry but the panthers have a reputation as league cum-dumpster

It's plainly obvious to me that they're drafting a quarterback, as Darnold's 5th year option prohibits the team from upgrading in free agency/a trade. He'll start a game or two before Rhule throws Pickett or Sam Howell into the lineup.

I do think it's more likely to be Howell, who is okay-ish as an NFL prospect. He's good enough to be the guy you're trying to replace in five years.
