Matt Rhule: "I don't think that everything that's happening is going to be solved with any one move."

Not very becoming to beg the owner not to fire you to the press.

You can't kill something that was never alive. Matt Rhule is a conman who got $60 million to coach the Panthers after posting A LOSING RECORD at Baylor. The media kept sucking his dick and acting like he had saved that program when in reality it had zero NCAA sanctions during the time that he was there. Jim Grobe coached the year after Briles and managed a winning record, which Rhule then turned into the worst season in Baylor history. I have to give him credit for a good formula, as tanking the shit out of your first season makes any subsequent success look like magic. That's why he got so much praise even though he only got Temple and Baylor back to what they already had been three years before he showed up.

This is why I quit on the Panthers. Tepper is an egomaniacal moron so obsessed with proving his brilliance that he constantly prioritizes flash over substance. This organization will never be a consistent success under his ownership because he has Jerry Jones' personality without Jerry Jones' passion for and knowledge of football. Jones was an all-conference lineman at Arkansas. Tepper is an all-cum swallowing attention whore.

Rhule isn't going anywhere, as firing him now would not only mean Tepper lighting $42 million on fire but also admitting to the media that he was a moron who made a terrible decision. They'll make a lot of excuses about missing McCaffrey and tell everyone to trust Rhule's history of improving even though that history is a fraud.

She kind of lost me there. I thought Rhule's basic method was to build the defense first, then focus on offense. He should be on the hot seat though, but he probably isn't.

    Brady, on the other hand...

In an article about what to expect from Matt Rhule, it talks about him being offensive minded.
    https://www.cover1.net/what-to-expect-carolina-panthers-offense-matt-rhule/

While Rhule was a linebacker in his playing days and didn’t call plays during his time at Baylor, he’s an offensive coach at heart. Between 2007 and 2013, when he was hired as a head coach, Rhule coached quarterbacks, offensive line, and tight ends, and was an offensive coordinator. He’ll bring an influence to the Panthers’ offense, the same way he has during his time overseeing Temple and Baylor.

While Rhule’s offense has evolved from 22 personnel power football over the years, his coaching philosophy hasn’t changed nearly as much. Rhule believes in controlling football games, ideally with the running game. His teams are generally on the aggressive side, as he’s known to give his offensive coordinator a benchmark on third down that if reached, the offense will stay on the field for 4th down.

I'm thinking since he has Snow everywhere he coaches, that kind of handles the Defense for him and he is more hands on with the offense. I would be surprised if Brady still calls plays next game.

It sounds like Brady is being set up as the sacrificial coach if this keeps going sideways.

Watch him rehabilitate himself in New Orleans before taking over for Payton and owning the Panthers for a decade.
