I'd be surprised if it's him still.

We will see soon enough. Fields & Lance more likely in my opinion.

Fuck yeah, we're signing AJ Bouye. I think we end up with Slater, Pitts, or Sewell at this point.

It sounds like a few teams may be interested in Bridgwater albeit for a late pick. He would have to restructure his deal to make it happen. If he does will that lessen the dead money to our cap?

If we can trade him we will have 10M in dead cap. If we cut him we have 20M in dead cap. If he stays, he counts 23M against the cap. So if we can't trade him, I think we keep him around to help Darnold with the offense.

Carolina should be able to at least get that 6th back right ???
To cut teddy and to get absolutely nothing would be moronic, but that seems to be the norm here. Will any team want to take on anywhere close to the dumbass $$$ though. I swear if the panthers just blindly throw 20 mil a year at Darnold then they have learned nothing from past error. It does not help their position to have openly and repeatedly stated that Teddy "has physical limitations" . .. who came up with that brilliant idea ?

Tepper. Any fuckups are his enabling. 2 offseasons in a row at QB. Look forward to Darnold out Mariota in next year.

If Darnold doesn't work out you can count on us to try and move up for Rattler or Howell next year. In the meantime, Darnold will put some butts in the seats. Better to have hope for an almost-bust redemption story than to roll with Mr. Boring again.

Doesn't Darnold have some God awful amount due his option year?
If he does enough to be kept around for the 2022 season will they offer an extension to soften the blow of said option amount?
