My son chose the theme. Thinking about Patton. What do you think the best war movie for a 15 year old is? Can’t have too many titties or his mom will give me shit.

It's a newer movie, but Hacksaw Ridge is the best war movie I've seen so far, and it seems perfect for a 15 year old. The fighting scenes are brutal, but if he's 15 I don't think that's a huge deal.

The Greatest Director of all Time made the greatest war movie of all time and a second one in the Top 10. He also made the greatest horror movie of all time as well as the greatest sci-fi movie of all time.

The story line of Saving Private Ryan pisses me off a little bit, but it's a very well made movie, and combat vets always say that it's the most realistic in terms of depicting what it's like to be in combat.

The first 20 minutes of Saving Pvt Ryan is as good a battle depiction as anything I've ever seen - and/or felt - movie-wise.
