Well I agree. If he was lighting it up, maybe I wouldn't think he was and idiot for even spending the time to get that look instead on working on his passing/pay.

It is hard for me to support him looking like that, talking like he does, when playing like ass.

Paul’s dehydration issues worry me. I like PP.

Totally bummed to say it but I’d almost rather know and have it be definitive - because it’d be tough to give up on cam unless it was definitive. But he’s no better now than when he sat out last year. We won many games bulldozing newton into the end zone or on a 4th down. It was a great run and maybe I’m wrong but feels like he ain’t coming back from this. He was better than luck - but maybe done also. Think Tepper would drag that out? Or cut ties? What’s cams contract like? Just curious.

It you're cutting him, make sure you got an upgrade in place. He's no longer a good quarterback, but there's not many out there right now.

I think there’s reason to hope things will get better here. I’m starting to really believe his foot is a big problem from the New England game. Perhaps they’re taking it slow with his runs to give it time to heal so he can be explosive again. This offense, and the quarterback, with a sore shoulder mind you: they all torched the number one defense in the NFL last year.

    I noticed:

Cams throws looked fine, as far as velocity. He underthrew samuel somewhat on the long completed pass. 10 made a great catch.

Cam didn't run with any power or quickness. He ran like he was scared.

His throws seemed on target when he saw an open guy settling in a zone hole and not really running. Also his quick slants were ok.

The rest of his passes generally were not even close.

3rd downs on o and d are failures it seems most times.

D linemen seem easily washed into the lbs, with gaping holes in the first and second levels and then the secondary can't tackle for shit. 59 gets walled off by the d line, like the other ilbs do a lot. He, like the other lbs are having to make the tackle from behind downfield while the dbs are being drug downfield.

The oline is fucking garbage. Everywhere. If cmc wasn't so nimble, decisive and quick, he'd never make it to the second level. We've reverted back to not being able to execute a good screen play. Maybe that's why the other rbs aren't getting work.

Norv is hit big 1 or 2 plays a series, then miss big. Although most times I can't tell if it's a bad play call or poor execution or both.

This team is simply not prepared. It's not lack of talent per se. They are either on the wrong page, make bad decisions and simply fail to execute consistently as mentioned previously.

Monumental oline personnel failure through drafts, especially, as well as fa acquisitions.

Collin was correct about this for the past decade or more.

I'm not pretending here to give some great analysis such as bb and moose who provide that wonderfully, just my 2 cents.
