You're too cool and laid back of a guy with non-aggressive posts and seem generally like a decent, regular guy for anyone to fuck with you.

I grew up in a loud, argumentative dysfunctional family who argued like cats and dogs one minute, and the next hugging like it never happened. My mom and her family were crazy injuns.

I can do that here (argue and be opinionated) and not take stupid shit personally, but I don't trust everyone to be the same. I don't argue and such anywhere else. Maybe this is where it gets out of my system.

It's great my immediate family (wife and kids) aren't dysfunctional like the one I grew up in. It's funny too, my siblings and I haven't argued and shit like that since we had our own families and are actually closer now.

 

I just try not to post anything that I wouldn’t feel comfortable saying in person.

It does. I used to do the "beer on a champagne budget" deal, but thankfully I outgrew it.

I am able to spend nearly my entire summer abroad by simply not having a car payment. That helps immensely. My children drive nicer vehicles than I do, but I ain't complaining.

BTW, my 23 year old son walked the Camino with me this year. He made the old man proud by gutting out every last step of those 500 plus miles.

Me either. It's just how my shit's taken by a crazy that I worry about sometimes.

If you knew me in person and I was saying the same thing, it likely would be taken differently.
