is that an estimate of how many QBs he'll bring to camp each season?

 

I can't think of very many times where this has gone well. Everyone points to Vermeil, but he had two atrocious years in St. Louis before abruptly quitting on them after their Super Bowl run.

 

Parcells was always able to take crappy teams and make them relevant. But in doing so, those Parcells reboots were always rife with a contingent of broken down veterans on their last productive legs. 2005 Cowboys is a great example, tons of problems but still highly competitive and disciplined enough to get any team on the right day.

I don’t think Gruden is that great. He had a table set for him in 2002, and they rode a hot streak on offense to the Super Bowl. Then he got a fat bull cock from John Fox for the next 6 years. I think he and Carr may have connectivity issues, personally.

Plus, he cut the best punter in the league, whom he’d never met in person, because apparently he didn’t like him. That’s just terrible management.
