I see the one thing that sticks out is a lack of playmakers. Benjamin and Funchess are possession guys When they do catch something deep especially Benjamin it will be out leaping a corner due to a height advantage they are possession guys. McCaffery and Samuel were drafted to make plays so far the early returns are not good. McCaffery in fairness is like Stewart is not getting much room to run he has been very good catching passes out of the backfield. Looks like a bigger slightly less explosive Darren Sproles. Samuel certainly has the speed he has started late and is beginning to show some flashes however may require another training camp. Both these guys are rookies to early to judge yet none are Karim Hunt or pre injury Dalvin Cook both of whom were drafted after them. Greg Olsen when he is healthy which prior to this year is most of the time is a playmaking tight end. In the running game, sadly Cam Newton is the only one who strikes fear. I would like to see what Cameron Artis Payne can do. Finally I hear TY Hiloton and Matravious Bryant may be available for trade. I hope so.

Greg Olsen. He plays every snap, from numerous positions. That's a substantial loss.

True but another big play guy is needed someone who can strike home run fear. Ted Ginn for all his faults was a speedy deep threat perhaps Samuel will emerge right now there is no one.

A dominating O-line cures most any offensive woes and makes above average players HOF worthy. See the dallas triplets of 25-30 years ago.

Trading for TY Hilton has crossed my mind.
