I hope it's a smoke screen. Draft is deep enough without having to mortgage your future on it.

Gman will prolly trade the whole draft for a #2 and then take somebody he coulda taken in the seventh. Who ends up sitting the bench or hurt.

I ready somewhere the top 4 players they could get by moving up and Fournette was #4. Unless Jacksonville takes him he will fall to us. What would it take our #1 this and next year plus our 2nd? No, just no

I'd trade up for #1. Garrett will be a game changer. Short of that, no thanks.

It doesn't make sense to me. Trading back makes more sense. You could get one of the better tackles, a good rb, or a de like Taco Charlton if you traded back four or five places plus a later pick.

With Gettleman I'd always favor adding more picks, unless you acquire a truly alpha player. Unfortunately that's never been his modus operandi.

No trading up or back. There are enough good players that at least one will be available at #8.

I am hoping the 49ers take Leonard Fournette (RB, LSU) at #2. Our off season free agency activity, particularly signing a Pro Bowl center and the best FB in football, we appear poised to snag him. Plus, Carlos Hyde struggles to put consecutive games together due to injury. My hunch is that you guys land Dalvin Cook at #8.

Well a lot of people do care what they think. To each their own. As really trading up for #2 would not be bad.
