    I'd be fine with the $11.1 million average if it was all in the form of a "prove it" year by year structure where the team could get out of it if he continues to suck balls.

    $53 million and $25 million guaranteed, but over four years instead of five. I guess that's just the tackle market right now. Honestly, I wouldn't have minded trading the #8 overall for Joe Thomas.

    Yeah, it's not the money itself that bothers me, it's the commitment. He's our left tackle now. There's no "prove it" and there's no realistic competition. He's the guy for the foreseeable future.
