Just returned after a week on Oahu. Saw Aloha Stadium for the first time. I fact, the Honolulu community enjoys a huge "Swap Meet" around the outside of the stadium almost daily.

The local Uber driver told me the NFL is moving the game to Florida? Seems a shame. It's not far from Pearl.

It gets bad attendance and bad ratings in Hawaii. Frankly they should stop playing the game altogether.

I'd like to see an NFL minor league that runs from November through February. Either way there's plenty of ways to create revenue without expanding the playoffs or having a meaningless exhibition.

Agreed. I hate it for the revenue loss for the locals there. Honolulu is large, much bigger than I thought. And away from Waikiki, there are some poor areas.

Agree about the worthlessness of the game itself.

Ironically all the changes they made to it recently, namely moving it before the Super Bowl and un-conferencing it, made it into an even more worthless pile of dogshit. Why they thought anyone would care about who Michael Irvin drafts to his real life fantasy team is beyond me. It's a ridiculous, festering pile of elephant feces that needs to be buried as soon as possible.

Have a real NFL game in Honolulu once a year to make up for it.
