    Bowman was mediocre at best last year despite big numbers, which is understandable given what he had to come back from. But he's nowhere near close to being the #1 linebacker right now. That's an asinine, homer statement.

    Yes, and it isn't even close. Dude led lead in tackles last season a year off of ACL surgery.

    He was one of the worst coverage linebackers in the league last year. Again, completely understandable given the nature of his injury. But he's not what we was before - at least not now. He looked great last night because the Rams have a 1987 Dan Henning offense.

    Ronald Blair, an AppState alum, had a really good camp and preseason (5th rounder) and saw a significant number of snaps last night. Good football player.

    I don't know it the Niners improved but the Rams do suck! The 9ers D did look good, but this was going against a horrible Rams offense, so couldn't tell.

    Williams needs to take a break from his excellent football playing and become a media type. That appears to be his real calling. Cause it ain't fucking football.
