Lady Gaga, whom I'm not a great fan of her work because I'm not inter her type of music so much, actually does have a great voice and is a very good pianist. Vocally she's absolutely on the same level as Pink (whom I am a fan of her and her band- live especially).

When she's not dressed and made up like she's trying to outdo Liberace or Elton John, is quite attractive.

Not saying someone wouldn't be better for the job, but I bet she does great.

Yes. She's good at what she does.

But you do realize the National Anthem for the SB is actually studio prerecorded. Which I think is dumb, but the stoopid fucks are so paranoid of somebody fucking up.

If you hear a huge pop star sing in concert these days, you are very possibly not hearing them live. As in unadulterated pure sound coming from that person in that moment in that location.

Actual acapella stuff like the anthem is one place you'll really hear them. I predict she gets her key straight for her voice and does an acceptable job. Plainer than someone like Beyonce would do. Or Whitney Houston for example. But still acceptable. Hits her pitches. Etc.

God I just hope she plays it straight (pun lol) and doesn't turn it into some gay type spectacle/politicize it with subbed lyrics. I will be muting her either way, along with all pregame and halftime musical acts. I just want the football.

 

She'll do a good job.
